The Factory at Franklin

Jessica Boyle – Nashville, TN

This shoot was absolutely incredible!

Traveling to Nashville to photograph this amazing girl was a dream come true. We spent time at The Factory in Franklin, Tennessee, which I highly recommend for photos. The entrance alone is breathtaking, and the lighting is a photographer’s paradise—the windows and the space are just perfect.

I usually like to have outfits planned out, but her style was so on point that I decided to go with the flow. We shot in three different outfits, and the experience was truly magical. Despite a bit of rain, we had an amazing time!

The first look was my all-time favorite. She brought this stunning Celtic-inspired dress and wore high-heeled boots to add some country flair. Her red hair, which I found out wasn’t her natural color, honestly added so much to the Celtic aesthetic. The second look was super classy but quirky—it was a blend of Nashville, vintage, and the girl-next-door, with a little touch of edgy flair. The final look was super edgy and vibrant. As the sun went down, we shot near the brick walls of the factory, and the moody setting from the light rain added more contrast to the images. Our poses were inspired by Harry Styles, blended with both my and Jessica’s fun and quirky personalities, along with a touch of our weird fashion sense. With Jessica’s modeling expertise, she kept things interesting and collaborative—we couldn’t stop!

I’ve been eager to blog about this shoot because it was nonstop fun. There are so many fantastic photos that choosing favorites has been a challenge. Working with Jessica was a delight. As a professional model, she brought a level of expertise that made the session both exciting and challenging. I had to keep up with her fluid movements and anticipate her poses.

It’s fascinating to see the difference between working with experienced models and those who are less comfortable in front of the camera. With seasoned models, it’s about keeping pace with their cues and knowing when to step back, while with less experienced subjects, the focus is on building their confidence and guiding them with direction.

This shoot gave me a fresh perspective on photography and allowed me to appreciate the art from a new angle. It was a fantastic learning experience and so much fun to be a part of!

Stories

Every story begins with listening — to who you are, where you are, and what this season means to you. These sessions unfold with grace, honesty, and quiet bravery, honoring both the beauty and the becoming. Each story is an invitation to be seen, just as you are.

Stories, seen honestly

I take on a limited number of sessions at a time so each story is given the care and space it deserves.
If this feels aligned, I’d love to begin with a conversation.
