Solace

Solace A Clean & Conscious Salon – Delray Beach, FL

“This is what it feels like when I photograph products I actually believe in, inside spaces I love.”

This session at Solace Salon carried an extra layer of depth for me. Working with products I’ve personally experienced, in a space that already feels familiar and grounding, made the process feel even more intentional.

Knowing Ariel — the owner — and having collaborated before allowed the creative energy to flow effortlessly. Our connection is rooted in mutual respect, artistry, and shared vision, which made this shoot feel humbling, therapeutic, and deeply refreshing.

As the light shifted through the back door — coming and going in perfect, fleeting moments — we found ourselves moving intuitively, running back to the frame just in time to catch it. It was amusing, fascinating, and honestly a little magical. Those moments reminded me why I love this work so much.

This Avéte haircare product shoot has been one of my favorites since beginning my rebranding journey. It affirmed the direction I’m walking and left me excited for what’s ahead. I’m grateful for spaces like Solace, collaborations like this, and the stories still waiting to be told.

"In the end, this session felt less like a project and more like a quiet affirmation — of trusting my instincts, choosing collaborations that feel aligned, and creating from a place of presence rather than pressure. This is the kind of work I want to keep saying yes to. The kind that feels honest, calm, and rooted. And if this story is any indication, there’s so much more beauty still unfolding."

Stories

Some sessions stay with me long after I’ve packed up my camera.

Not because of how they looked — but because of how quietly someone began to soften into themselves without realizing it.

Those are the moments I return to when I think about why I do this work at all.

Not to create perfect images, but to notice what is already true.

Stories, seen honestly

I take on a limited number of sessions each month to keep each experience intentional, present, and considered.
